Great hotel. Wish they had actually done what they said they were. But didnt. No military discount. Will go somewhere that honors it next time. No shower mat either. Slipped in shower. Tub was slick.
I was in town recently for the Carolina / Georgia football game and this hotel is very nice. I stayed on the 1st floor, and the rooms were spacious and looked to have been recently remodeled with tiled flooring. The bathroom was very nice, to include the linen (towels, etc.) The staff was also very nice, and I was overly impressed at the breakfast selections that was offered. The dining area was clean, and the staff made sure of it. I would definitely recommend this hotel if in the area as it is close to the interstate and near lots of food and shopping choices. GREAT STAY, I will be back!
Good value. Furnishing were new, but overall, still in need of a full remodel. There was a strong off-putting smell on our floor. Breakfast was good. Friendly staff.
This motel was at the half way point of my 600 mile trip. I had not made a reservation because I was uncertain exactly where I would decide to stop for the night. I did not check in until 11:30 pm. The room was very clean, attractively decorated, comfortable bed, quiet, and there was nice TV with a working remote that was easy to figure out The bedside table had a lamp with a built in electrical outlet, which I used for a CPAP machine. This is a very nice feature because I would have otherwise had to search for an electrical outlet. Breakfast included eggs, sausage patties, biscuits, sausage gravy, a waffle machine, an assortment of breads/cereals, fruit, coffee, and juices. My only complaints were quite minor. The bed generated a little heat on my back from the foam mattress, the 5 bed pillows were too small for what I like, the shower curtain was torn in 2 places, and the orange juice was too watery to have much orange flavor. Staff was very courteous and respectful. I would definitely stay here again.
Good value for the hotel. Room was immaculately clean and free breakfast was acceptable. Parking lot was very well lighted for safety.
