Normal dining experience. Problem is, I got charged a $1.99 Presto Fee (touchscreen device at each booth) unsuspectingly, that I had to dispute after paying the bill. Look Applebee's, I understand the business decision of placing these devices at each table to make money entertaining children, but the flipside is ultimately you also prey on people's ignorance and steal from people.
This is about the principle. You implemented a system that is flawed and it almost took advantage of me, you almost STOLE from me. I do not trust your establishment any more, and do not ever plan to eat at this franchise again.
I definately love coming here for lunch but I'm at a loss after 2 of their best bartenders left and staff can say no more. Watch out for the heavy set girl with glasses and long wavy hair... Jo Elen? Just an objective opinion for the lunch hours... she sits at a booth the whole time so service seems to be a little slow during lunch hours. Don't expect to be seated quickly unless a bartender or server takes control and willingly seats you.
This particular Applebee's location is good, their operation does not deserve the 1 star review. I'd give it 3.5 stars. I advise the owner of this location to send this review to Applebee's corporate to show how their decision to implement the Presto devices is having a negative brand impact, despite increasing revenues in the short term. we always eat here everytime we go to commerce. this time it was terrible. no 6, 8 or 12 ounce steaks. they gave us 2 4 ounce steaks and they were over cooked. they also had no a-1. simple terrible
Joellen refused to accommodate our party of 6. We are loyal patrons/regulars at Applebees in Commerce. We never ask for anything, but we asked for a corner table for our group tonight. They put two tables together in an aisle for us. Not what I expected. Dang shame. We will spend more time elsewhere in the future. Joey is great! That's the only reason for 2 stars instead of 0. Joey rocked!!
Came here for $1 margaritas and 10.99 unlim shrimp and chicken. Everything was awesome. Margarita naturally was weak but that's fine for $1. Our waitress Bobbi was awesome.
